To celebrate the release of the latest DVD in the Max Lucado’s Hermie and Friends brand, I’m giving them away! This month the 14th DVD in the series, Antonio Meets His Match, hits stores. As Executive Producer for the series, it’s been an honor to work with Max, our talented “Hermie Team,” and amazing cast.
In “Antonio”, our beloved strong ant voiced by the talented Sam Mercurio (who also voices God in the series) meets his match in an obnoxious golf and bagpipe playing Scottish Red Ant named Angus, voiced by the amazing Fred Willard (Wall-E). Comedy quickly hits full stream as the entire garden learns a lesson in Loving Your Neighbor.
You can watch the trailer for this DVD in the “Video Things…” section of my blog or on the Tommy Nelson iPhone app.
To win one of FIVE DVDs, just leave a comment telling me what type of Garden insect you are most like and why. :-)
Good luck!

I'd have to say my 4-year-old daughter and I are most like ants because we are "determined!"
Nice…your daughter will love the new DVD…it’s all about the ants and Loving Your Neighbor. Good luck!
garden insect I am most like….I would have to say I am most like the cute fuzzy catepillar. I am the type that people want to be around and tell their secrects too. Then when noone was looking I was transformed by my maker into a beautiful butterfly soaring high spreading the good news to all who will listen.
Thanks for the comment Nikki. We love caterpillars!
I am like a butterfly, because I'm a new creation!
I am most like a caterpillar because I am a work in progress. God is transforming into the image of His Son like the caterpillar is transformed into a beautiful butterfly!
I would have to say a butterfly because they are shy and sensitive.
I'm most like a spider because I'm all legs!
My little charge is a beetle. He looks so much like a little beetle when he wakes from a nap and I pick him up that I call him "bug". I am the nanny to this beautiful baby boy, Michael. He was born 8 weeks early and has already started life a little behind, so his parents and I are looking for items that will help his development and growth. I believe with all my heart that this is something that will help him to grown and mature in Christ. What more could one ask for their child?
I am a mother to 5 children, so I mostly identify with the over-protective mother ladybug. I noticed that no matter how much she tries to keep them out of trouble (in Buzby?), they still manage to get in trouble. That is so true to real life. Sometimes the only way they can learn is through their own mistakes.
My 2 year old loves Hermie, Wormie and Milo! Thanks for doing this.
I guess I would say I am most like an ant because I like to work as a team to get things accomplished.
I am most like a butterfly. Fluttering from one spot to another most of the time. When I do finally
land somewhere I stay for a long time.
My son said he is most like Hermie because their voices sound the same.
I would be like a grasshopper…..I can't stay still. I am always on the go.
Thanks for the comment. This sounds like me!
I would have to also say I am most like a caterpillar/butterfly. Before I was married, I was a Caterpillar, roaming around being all I could be with what God had blessed me with, not knowing my true potential, or true beauty. But now, being a wife and mother, I have become a more beautiful butterfly. God has shaped me into someone I never new was possible, and has given me eyes to see that beauty through my husband and my kids.
I have to say I'm most like Hermie the caterpiller's friend, Wormie. Like in the Common Caterpiller, feeling common, asking what God is doing in my life right now, but not understanding what he is doing. I know he is doing great things in my life. I see the butterfly changes in friends around me and know it is happening to me. I'm just waiting for that ah-hah it happened moment of transformation again – something that continually happens as a Christian in our ups and downs.
I would have to say a cricket. I'm more of a night person than a morning person. Great job on the Hermie videos. My two daughters love them!
I like to keep as busy as a bee! Thats what im most like:)
I would say I'm like the ant. Always working on helping others and doing things to stay busy
I am like a butterfly. Add colour to their enviroment.
I'm a cricket b/c that was my Grandfather's nick name for me to this day!
I think I'm most like an ant…Head down working at home during the day, but always with my family
I love Hermie!!!!!! I too can’t wait for my final metamorphosis!
Thanks for entering everyone. The five winners will be contacted today (Wednesday). New giveaway coming next week…
